With more than a year of careful planning, development and production under their belts, Andrew Anguiano and Gregg Spickler are ready to pop a fizzy cap or two. The co-founders of Southside Craft Soda have scheduled a launch party for their fledgling brand at B&B Smokehouse Saturday, March 9.

Southside Craft Soda will offer tastings of its first product, TexaCola, at the event. The soda is made with Mexican cane sugar; a citrus blend of lemons, oranges and limes from the Rio Grande Valley; and a touch of honey from San Antonio. TexaCola is currently available at a limited number of San Antonio-area bars and restaurants and can be purchased in four-packs at Smoke Shack Meat Market for $6.
